What is IFAIFPA?

IFAIFPA is the International Federation of AI Film Producers’ Associations. It publishes the AIFD standards framework, participation information and public accreditation records for AI-film production and festivals.

How do I verify an AIFD record?

Search the public register by AIFD identifier or organisation name. Check the subject, status, scope, jurisdiction, validity and decision notice. If the live register is unavailable, retry before relying on a record.

Does an AIFD identifier prove accreditation?

No. A correctly formatted identifier is not proof of accreditation. A published record and its current status, scope and validity must be checked.

What does festival accreditation assess?

Covers eligibility, programming governance, jury independence, awards integrity, public disclosure and accredited operating scope. Accreditation confirms governance and operating conformity—not artistic merit.

What is the difference between membership and accreditation?

Membership concerns participation in the federation. Accreditation is a separate assessment under a named AIFD scheme. Membership alone does not establish accreditation.

How do I apply?

Submit organisation, programme and governance details. Provide rights, provenance and operating evidence. Qualified reviewers assess the AIFD requirements. The decision, scope and validity are published.
